Austin Education is an official AMC test centre, providing eligible students with the opportunity to participate in the Australian Mathematics Competition (AMC) through a recognised testing venue.

Our Years 7–8 program follows a progressive learning structure, helping students move from core mathematical knowledge to advanced competition-style problem-solving.
Students work across key mathematical areas, including Algebra, Geometry, Number Theory and Combinatorics, while learning to recognise patterns, identify underlying mathematical principles and apply familiar concepts in unfamiliar situations.
Rather than simply completing more questions, students are encouraged to understand why a particular approach works, compare different solution methods and develop the persistence to work through problems that do not have an immediate solution.
